This Northern Virginia homeowner wanted to take 2 double hung windows and replace them with a vinyl patio door for the entry to a new deck.Phoenix did not have to change the window header to install the door. We simply had to cut the brick below the window and tiger tooth the brick for the lower section.

This Northern Virginia homeowner in Clifton contrated Phoenix Home Services to enlarge the window in their kitchen. The brick for this window enlargement can not be cut straight, it needs to be tiger toothed so the new brick that is layed looks like the window was installed when the house was built. Some interior framing was constructed along with a little dry wall work to complete the interior window installation. The last step was to finish the drywall and install some new window trim.We also offer painting and staing of any door or window trim.

After the brick was cut out to the size the home owner wanted for there new thermal vinyl window. A steel angle iron
was installed to suport the load of the removed brick. Then Phoenix carefully matched the brick for color and size. After the window opening was carefully constructed by installing matching brick. A flanker set of thermal vinyl windows including 2 double hung window, and a picture window,with custom window grids was installed. After the window was installed the opening was insulated and the exterior brick molding was capped with PVC coated coil stock.
