Phoenix uses a 4000 PSI Phoenix Drivetec mixture formulated by Virginia Concrete . This concrete is designed by Virginia Concrete with residential micro fiberglass, plasticizers, and a 4 inch slump. Our concrete design mix is always Air-entrained concrete to give your concrete patio walk way or drive way the best PSI. Air entrainment of concrete is the intentional creation of small air bubbles in concrete mixture. Reinforced concrete (FRC) is concrete containing fibrous material which increases its structural integrity. It contains short discrete fibers that are distributed and randomly oriented. Concrete fibers include, glass fibers, and synthetic fibers. Curing is one of the most important elements in drive way construction. Proper curing greatly increases concrete strength and durability. Concrete hardens as a result of hydration: the chemical reaction between cement and water. However, hydration occurs only if water is available and if the concrete's temperature stays within a suitable range.
