Before any fencing installation starts we need to get a copy of your home property plat. With this plat we will know where your legal property is and will design a fence that does not encroach on your neighbor’s property. The normal set back is 1 or 2”  inches  so no legal claims can be made at a later date. When the fence out line is decided  including the fence design, and gate locations you need to apply for home owners association approval. Some counties in Northern Virginia require a building or zoning permit to build a new fence ,we will make sure these laws are followed.  When your home owners association has been approved Phoenix Home Services will contact Miss Utility of Virginia and get a active ticket number. When Phoenix Home Services Has a active Miss Utility number your fencing project can begin. Using the lot pins your builder or developer used to stake out the legal lot size you own, we will string out those marking to start your fencing installation.  These string lines will act as the guide to build the outline of your fence. The next step in installing your fence, is to mark off where the fence posts, and gate posts will be installed. Normally fence posts are set at 6’ feet on center fence gates can range from 3’ to 6’ or wider. When the fence marking are complete we will use a post hole digger to excavate the area were your fence posts will be installed. Post Hole Depth should be at least 18” in Northern Virginia. After the post holes have been excavated your fence line posts, fence gate posts, and corner posts will be set.   These  fence posts will be checked for by a laser or string line for exact placement. When your fence posts are placed in their proper location 3000 psi concrete will filled the dug holes around the fence posts. Attach a top and bottom rail to the fence posts , if your fence is built from vinyl, aluminum or wood the procedure is the same. After the fence rails are installed it’s time to check that all fence corners, grade, and posts are set correctly.  When certain of your fence posts and rail system is right we will start to install the fence pickets. After the fence pickets are installed we will fabricate and install the gates including the hinges , fence gate locks , and other fence hardware. The final step is to install your fence post caps and clean the job site.  Our   Delgard aluminum fence combines  a good value  with low  maintenance for commercial, and  residential  applications.
